Can you guess?

This is probably a tough one (at least if you’re not from Sweden πŸ˜› )Β but I’m currently working on a little portrait of a famous Swedish blogger – a childhood photograph of her. Can anyone guess who it is?

And those of you who can’t πŸ˜› tell me what you think about it so far πŸ™‚

Haha okay, don’t worry even I don’t really know the names of ABBA. ^^

I do know the names of the former band Roxette, since they both come from my hometown ^^ Per Gessle & Marie Fredriksson – don’t know if you knowof them but they wrote and performed the song “It must have been love” which was played in Pretty Woman and therefore world famous haha

So where do you come from and where do you live now? Or maybe it’s the same? πŸ™‚

Ah Roxettem I know them for ‘She’s Got The Look’, I believe that was one of their dittys! That song did soundtrack a summer I spent in France when I was a tender 15 years old.

I am from London but currently residing in the grubby end of Sweden, namely MalmΓΆ!

Oh, so that part is true then? Thought that might be a part of the whole sarcasm you had going on πŸ˜‰ It is pretty interesting to have so much history n your family, or am I wrong? πŸ˜›

Weeeell, my family’s past was a bit of a recent discovery for me, so it is not as if I am ‘proud’ of it per se, I was doing fine beforehand πŸ™‚ I kinda like the fact that I am this liberal black sheep in a family which has comprised of many Conservative politicians and agents of the Foreign Service..it just seemed like a good thing to mock after moving to Sweden.

Haha, you mightn’t find my book anywhere since it is just a name I chose for my blog πŸ™‚ Oh, and who is this swedsh lady? She must be something special if you moved to little Sweden πŸ˜›

One of those characters with ‘berg’ at the end of her name! I had suffered a MASSIVE bout of ill health which left my career in tatters, she has a goodish job here so it seemed wise for me to move here.

Betwixt London and Cambridge, the humble little market town of Bishop’s Stortford, a charming little place to grow up it was too! I have bounced around somewhat though; university and various jobs etc. I was a journalist before my body fell apart, do you work?

    • Got my book says:

Your body “fell apart? That sounds horrible.. what illness do you suffer from? It does sound like a rather nice place to grow up in though πŸ™‚ How old are you? If that’s not rude to ask.

I don’t work at the moment, I’m interning I guess you can say at a primary school and I’m really enjoying it! It is actually my own old school!

    Teaching, a noble profession indeed!

I am too old to be up at this bewitching hour (38!). I’ll not bore you with the details, but it took a double organ transplant to save me..all well now though.

I am off to bed, I’ll look forward to your future blogs.

    Fare-di-well.
