He he well I’m happy that I live where I live, ’cause I really don’t like warm weather.. (I’m the ONLY one in Sweden to say this hahahah). I mean I like when the summer arrives here after a long winter but in august (when the summer is wearing off) I’m just looonging for fall & winter. 😛

Hahaha I guess we are where we’re best suited. Although I enjoyed seeing snow, I was uncomfortable feeling it. I wore four layers of clothing during autumn in Germany and the UK.

Funny story: I didn’t know what a gas heater looked like then. On my first day in the UK, I was expecting a thermostat on the wall, much like the hotels have here for the AC. I found none. Not wanting to look stupid (which, looking back, was stupid in itself), I alternately cried/slept through the night with no heat, just wearing around around ten layers of clothes. The next day, my friend told me that what I thought was the decorative grill was actually the heater!

Hahahah that is funny! x) I’ve never even thought about that you don’t have heaters! Wow, man.. I need to travel some! See myself around 😛

And btw – I love snow! Here in Sweden we sometimes either bathe in a wood-fired sorta pool, or sit in the sauna and when we’re all heated up we go throw ourselves in the snow! If it’s wintertime, in summertime we jump into a cold pond/pool. He he I guess you wouldn’t really enjoy rolling around in snow? 😉

I didn’t get the chance to do that because I went back home at the start of winter. My stay was mostly during autumn (which is a lovely season, with all the leaves falling all over the place — so romantic, sad and beautiful). I guess with the right clothing, I would love rolling around in the snow. 😀 Perhaps the reason I didn’t enjoy the cold much was because outfits-wise, I was ill-prepared. I seriously believed I could get away with just layering my normal clothes (which are made from thin, breathy fabrics such as cotton, chiffon, rayon, etc).

If ever you find yourself here in one of your future travels, do let me know! 🙂

And oh, that sounds awesome. esp. the wood-fired pool!

It truly is awesome. Last weekend some friends threw a party and they’d hired three “wood-fire-pools”, two which they heated up and then they left the smaller one filled with coldwater! It was so wonderful. Seriously one of the best feelings ^^ Though some people can’t take the temperature change from hot to cold – one girl fainted. But that’s unusual, never happened before when I’ve been around 😛

And yes, I will let you know if ever get to the Philippines (hope I spelled it right..:P)!!
